If the Nigerian verve card you added to the Quicktellerclassic mobile app expires and your bank issues you a new one, you will not be able to add the new one to the Quickteller app even if you’ve registered it for safetoken at an Automated Teller machine (ATM). Whenever you try registering it on the app, it will throw an error, informing you that a virtual type of the card already exists…. To resolve this issue, you will have to delete the expired debit card from the Quickteller app. Unfortunately, there is no way you can do this by yourself. You will have to contact Quickteller support to get it done for you. Once they confirm to have deleted it, you will have to “refresh” the quickteller classic app till you no longer see the expired debit card been listed in the app. This might take over 24hrs. Once the expired ATM card is no longer listed in the Quickteller app, you can proceed to adding the newly issued replacement ATM card to the app. Remember to register the verve card for safetoken at an ATM to enable you perform unlimited transactions with the app. NB: I contacted Quickteller via Twitter for resolution when I encountered this problem. The support was awesome.
